The tragic events of September 11th have shocked us all. From coast to coast and everywhere in between, we mourn and we grieve for those who were lost. Some of you were in New York on the day of the attacks. Some of you were in DC. You represent us. Our hearts are with you.

Like Americans everywhere, there is a passionate drive to find what is good, to renew relationships, and to live every day to the fullest as we try to process what has happened.

To the class of 1979: You are loved by and beloved to one another. Remember this love and rejoice. Reach out and reconnect.

We stand with our fellow classmates who have witnessed these events first hand. And to all who have suffered fear and loss, our hearts and prayers are with you.
