Yes, that’s right, a 21^st Reunion! We had such a great time last year, let’s do it again! The feedback we received from the last CHS Update, which went out via e-mail in January, was a resounding "yes"! In addition, everyone seems to agree that the weekend plans should be as simple as possible. This will allow classmates to get together with friends and family on their own schedule. The plans are below. As Stephen King said in the movie Stand By Me, "I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve….does anyone?"

Friday, July 7^th, 2000

Time:     7:00 p.m. - whenever
Where:   The Rusty Nail or The Holiday Inn (exact location to be determined)
What:     Informal Gathering (casual dress)
Cost:      Each person is responsible for paying for his/her own drinks and food

Day: No organized activities. Arrange your own get together with classmates and/or family.
Dinner: Make your own plans for dinner. (Wouldn’t it be fun to get a group together at The Hollywood or Jack Danielson’s?)

Evening
Where:  The Dark Horse (where else?)
When:    9:00 p.m. - whenever
Cost:      Pay as you go

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn for both Friday and Saturday night. The cost is $99+tax per night. If you would like to reserve a room, call the Holiday Inn directly at 607-756-4431 and reference the Cortland High School Class of '79 room block.  The Holiday Inn will hold the room block until June 7th.
